One Mission: End Homelessness.

Starting December 13th, 2025, Hope the Mission’s President Rowan Vansleve will take on the incredible challenge of running 50 full marathons in 90 days to raise money and awareness for those experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. We’re calling on all local running enthusiasts—and even those who aren’t athletes—to join us in this life changing campaign!

It will be a grueling 1,310 miles in just 90 days. Rowan will run the same 6.55-mile course at Hansen Dam Loop, repeated four times per marathon. There will be no fanfare—just Rowan, a trunk full of supplies, and a dedicated team of runners, all united by the mission to fight homelessness.

Rowan can’t do this alone—he’ll need your support to keep his feet hitting the pavement and make this challenge a success!

Ways to Help

This campaign is about pushing limits to change lives. Every run raises funds to provide shelter, housing, meals, and support. But we can’t do it without you.

Here’s how you can be part of it:

  • Donate whatever you can or sponsor a marathon for $2,620 or co-sponsor one for $1,310.
  • Set your own 90-Day Challenge—whatever that looks like to you. It could mean giving something up, taking on a new habit, or even training for the LA Marathon. You could join Team Hope at the LA Marathon, or set your own goal–run one marathon, two, or any distance you choose–and raise support for the mission along the way.
  • Jump into any marathon run, especially Saturday’s Community Run–walk, jog, or run alongside Rowan. All levels welcome. Check the calendar below to sign up!
  • Step up as a major sponsor—help power this campaign at scale and show your brand stands for impact.
  • Learn more about Rowan Vansleve!

This is more than a challenge. It’s a call to action. Join us. Move with us. Help bring people home.

The 50 Marathons Challenge

From December 13, 2025 to March 8, 2026, Rowan will run 1,310 miles—four marathons a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Each run takes place on a 6.55-mile loop course at Hansen Dam. The loop design allows Rowan to refuel at a simple aid station—his car’s trunk—and invites others to join him at any distance:

• Full marathon (26.2 mi)
• Half (13.1 mi)
• Quarter (6.55 mi)
• Or walk a mile and show support

This isn’t just a physical challenge—it’s a call for community. More runners. More visibility. More impact.
