Joe came to Hope the Mission’s John E. White House of Hope homeless and addicted, in need of a second chance. After just a few weeks of being at the House of Hope, Joe found out he had a heart defect. He worried that he’d be left destitute after his open heart surgery but our Founder/CEO Ken Craft reassured him that he would have a bed waiting for him to heal.
Joe recovered, graduated from the program and now is Hope the Missions Maintenance Supervisor! He’s happily housed, married and thriving.
