Hope in San Diego

Hope the Mission is proudly active in the city of San Diego with our free, accessible storage center for those experiencing homelessness.

San Diego Storage Community Center

In partnership with the San Diego Housing Commission, Hope offers a free storage facility for those experiencing homelessness in the downtown area of San Diego. We provide 500 storage bins for our participants, which they can access at anytime during our hours of operation.

We understand how important it is for those without secure shelter to store their personal belongings, and we are proud to serve the great people of San Diego. Contact us at (619)-894-8894.

In February 2025, Hope the Mission opened our first thrift store in San Diego. 100% of all profits from the thrift store will go directly towards operating our storage facility and continuing to providing critical supportive services across our shelters.

Hope’s San Diego store offers great and fashionable clothes at low prices, small appliances, toys, electronics, furniture, and more to the San Diego community. Our thrift stores are socially responsible social enterprises that reduce clothing and other household waste, provide fair-wage jobs, and reinvest all profits into the unhoused community.
