Donor-Advised Funds

An easy and tax-efficient way to manage charitable giving. It allows donors to receive an immediate tax deduction for their charitable contributions, and then recommends grants from the fund on the donor’s own timeframe.

Stock Gifts

It is easy to make a gift of stock:

1. Ask your broker or online trading company to perform an “electronic transfer” of the mutual fund or individual stock shares you wish to donate.

3. Contact Grace Ancheta, Sr. Director of Development, at 818-392-0020 or grace@hopethemission.org to let us know your gift is coming. Please provide your contact information, the date of transfer, the name of the stock, and how many shares you are donating. This notification is needed to track the transaction and provide a tax-deductible receipt for your gift.
